Pale gold with a delicate and fine bead and a bouquet of subtle spice and hints of citrus. Warm toasty notes balance the freshness of fruit. Medium bodied and very easy on the palate. Perfectly balanced: a soft mouthfeel belies the strong structure of the wine. Finishes clean yet delicately lingers. A perfect aperitif Brut L-P can easily be enjoyed on its own. It will also stand up to a variety of fish dishes such a halibut or turbot. It can also be paired with a wide variety of light hors d’oeuvres. This Champagne is a blend of Chardonnay (45%), Pinot Noir (40%), Pinot Meunier (15%). Blended from over 200 base wines from more than 50 crus, the average vineyard rating on the quality scale is an impressive 94%. Between 10% and 20% of the blend is comprised of reserve wines, which allows our winemaker, Michel Fauconnet, to ensure stylistic consistency year after year.
