Description
A Latvian ultra premium vodka, Elit Vodka is made using patented freeze filtration. The process involves filtering the vodka at -18 degrees Celsius. The result is a stunningly smooth vodka with a wonderful flavour of aniseed and spice.
Note: Although this is a brand which is often associated with Russia, it is not made in Russia nor under Russian ownership or control. They have also made it clear they stand with Ukraine and don’t support either Putin or his war of aggression against the Ukrainian people.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Dry, clean aromas. Slightly grainy. Hints of woody notes.
Palate: Hints of charcoal meld with an oily, creamy palate. Very supple and refined.
Finish: Long, becomes slightly sweet.
