This Japanese liqueur that is made from unripe Ume fruit that is steeped in Shochu and sugar. The result is a sweet and sour liqueur that is and can be mixed with soda, green tea or just with ice. Fruity aroma with the natural acidity of plums and smooth texture.

A lovely rich nose with aroma of black currant, blood plums, chocolate, spice, liquorice and fine pencil shaving oak. On the palate the wine is medium bodied with intense fruit flavours and excellent length. The Shiraz has excellent depth and concentration, with fine tannins. Enjoyable to drink as a young wine, it will continue to develop over four to six years.
