Our Block 5 produced the fruit for the 2021 ‘Sfera’ Montepulciano. Prior to transport to the winery, machine harvesting is done at night to preserve freshness.

Montepulciano grapes are native to the D’Abruzzo area of central Italy. With flavors of chocolate and sage, Montepulciano offers a dark, brooding fruit range that includes cherries, boysenberries, and blackberries. The palate is well framed by a fuller-bodied style with soft tannin, medium acidity, and a range of fruit flavors. Perfect with your preferred pasta or a veal ragu served over polenta.
