Valco, currently Distiland Maramureș SA, is part of the Herman Jansen group and offers a diverse range of own-label distillates, as well as other distillates belonging to the Dutch company.

In 2020, the producer from Maramureș was awarded the Qudal gold medal following the market study on product quality, carried out by the company ICERTIAS – International Certification Association.

Among the traditional Romanian drinks produced with dedication and tradition in Maramureș, we present the premium palinca obtained from fermented and double-distilled plum juice. The fruity and natural aroma profile is revealed when the drink is slightly chilled and enjoyed before a meal.  

APPEARANCE: Clear, in colorless glass covered in lacy rush that gives it a rustic look.

SMELL: Subtle notes of macerated plums.

TASTE: Aroma of plums and refined distillate, slightly dry.

FINISH: Medium. Fruity.
