Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is produced by taking the distilleries celebrated Woodford Reserve Distiller’s Select and placing it in fresh, deeply toasted and lightly charred oak barrels to age for almost an extra year. A deep dark copper colour its taste is as rich as its appearance. It carries the sweet vanilla and caramel character that denotes bourbon but with subtle touches of leather and dried dark fruits that set it apart from its contemporaries. Its finish is long and smooth with leather, oak, tobacco, baking chocolate and rye spice, leaving you wanting more. Best served neat or on the rocks. Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is simply too good to waste in mixers.
